Pipa Rose was founded in France by Phillipa, drawing on a personal vision shaped by a lifelong connection to nature, craftsmanship, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.

Raised in South Africa, surrounded by the sea, gardens, and long afternoons spent outdoors, she grew up in a world where simplicity and warmth shaped her way of seeing things. Encouraged by the women in her family, she was introduced to the art of making clothing from a young age.

After moving to Paris to study, Phillipa was drawn to the light and pace of the South of France which reflected the life she had grown up with. She moved to Nice with a simple intention: to return to making, and to build Pipa as an extension of that original world, one rooted in craftsmanship, femininity, and a softer, more intentional way of living.
