The Pipa Rose Rebrand Story

Pipa Rose has always been a quiet project.

It started as Maison Brumes Paris in 2020, in my small Paris apartment, with a sewing machine, and the desire to make lingerie slowly, by hand. At the time, I was studying fashion business, and Pipa was something very personal. It was a space to explore softness, femininity, and craftsmanship without pressure.

From the beginning, the pieces were wire-free, delicate, and made in very small quantities. Nothing was rushed and nothing was industrial. But over the years, Pipa has also been on and off. Not because I stopped caring, but because I wasn’t always sure where to take it.

Taking a step back

As I grew, so did my questions. Was Pipa only lingerie? Could it become something more without losing its soul? Did I want to scale, or stay small and intentional? I tried to answer these questions while juggling studies, work, and other projects, and sometimes, the easiest option was to pause. That pause turned out to be necessary. It gave me distance, perspective, and clarity.

What changed

The rebrand isn’t about reinventing Pipa Rose. It’s about aligning it with what it has quietly been becoming. Pipa is still intimate, feminine, and handmade. But it’s no longer limited to lingerie alone. With the relaunch, I introduced my first clothing set, a skirt and jacket, designed with the same sensitivity as the lingerie pieces. Soft lines. Thoughtful fabrics. Made slowly, in Paris. This marks the beginning of a wider wardrobe, designed with the same care as the lingerie pieces.

What stays the same

Some things won’t change. Pipa Rose will always be handmade in small quantities, focused on fabric, touch, and fit, independent and deliberately slow and rooted in a very personal, feminine vision. There’s no seasonal rush here. No pressure to constantly produce. Each piece exists because it feels right.

Looking ahead

From now on, Pipa Rose is something I’m building with more intention and consistency. Lingerie will remain at the heart of the brand. Clothing will grow alongside it. And I’ll be sharing more of the process, not to romanticise it, but to make it human.

Thank you for being here, whether you’ve followed Pipa from the beginning or you’re just discovering it now.

This is just the next chapter.
